The most frightening words imaginable for any woman are those when she is told that she has breast cancer. The morbid thoughts run through her head and the fear is overwhelming. Now she must endure medical treatments and examinations for several months as begins her battle against this disease.
Cancer is defined by four different stages and metastatic breast cancer is defined as stage 4 and it means that the cancer has spread beyond the breast and underarm lymph nodes to other part of the body. Another way to explain this is that the cancer cells have migrated and are now growing outside of the original tumor.

Every year we are all inundated with request to buy a ribbon, to walk, to give your extra change to find “a cure” for breast cancer.
Sorry, but I can’t. The reason is that most of these foundations don’t do any sort of alternative medicine research. If you were to listen to the media, you would think that the only treatment that has any hope of being successful is traditional medical treatment. What about successful treatments by Rene Caisse in Canada in the 1930’s?
What about treatments using megadoses of antioxidants?

The chances to getting sick of prostate cancer increases substantially as you get older, usually after the age of 50. But beside the age, the main risk factors can be the ethnicity, the higher risk is encountered more at African men, the family history is a well known reason, the risk of the disease is higher if someone of your family had or has prostate cancer, the diet is also a factor, in specially the diet abundant in fats, vasectomy increased the risks, but the high level of testosterone too. If you know the risk factors and the symptoms, you can easily discover if you are ill and you’ll go to the doctor early. Thus, the chances to cure are better.

Reality bites! Sometime we can’t handle situations properly when they bring pain and confusion to us. There are facts in life that we can’t just accept easily. Even the truth and the real face of the world seem to become blurred when we are in crucial situations. Sometimes we need helpful hands out there to bring us into the lighter side of the world.
Waiting for transplantation of body part or a bone-marrow graft is like waiting for the final judgment. It brings things to sudden realizations and it creates great impacts on mental faculties. In the Bible, the oleander plant is referred to as “the desert rose”. Perhaps the name given this remarkable plant was no coincidence. Those of you who have read Dan Brown’s entertaining combination of fact and fiction, “The Davinci Code”, or who otherwise know a bit about pagan and early Christian religion will know that the rose is one of the most powerful of all religious symbols in pagan and early Christian religion and literature. It stands quite literally for nothing less than the feminine half of God, or the Goddess as that entity was called. It was also a symbol for very powerful healing.

There are many different risk factors for breast cancer. The most significant of these risks factors is gender and age. Most occurrences of breast cancer occur in a certain gender and age group. Even though those outside this gender and age group are still at risk for breast cancer, the risk is not as great.
Women are at the greatest risk of developing breast cancer. Contrary to what many people believe, men can also develop breast cancer. However, women are at a much greater risk of developing breast cancer than men. Age also plays a factor in the development of breast cancer. The cancer is far more common in women over 50 versus women under 20.
